Hi, my name is Leanne. As a Master Craftsman in hairdressing I am very passionate about hair and I have over 20 years’ experience in the industry.
I am qualified to a high standard of hairdressing with a NVQ level 3 and a Master Colour Expert degree with Wella. I offer a wide range of hairdressing services within Rebecca Jayne Specialists salon in Chester City Centre. I am also apart of the Hair Council, as a state registered hairdresser (SRH).
I am currently studying for my PGCE in Further Education, to become a part-time hairdressing teacher. I work part-time in the salon and my dairy currently is closed to new clients, I will update my page if this changes.
I started off hairdressing as a young apprentice straight from finishing school back in the year 2000, I have worked with large hairdressing organisations across the North West of England (Regis, Saks & Francesco Group), working up to management level. I also have worked on-board the cruise ships as a Hairstylist for a period of 16 months and loved the experience, though I won’t go back now that I’m settled in Chester.
I have always kept up to date with ongoing training and personal development. By attending workshops and courses, giving me multiple diplomas in creative cutting, colouring and hair up.
It was always a dream of mine to have my own business one day and now that dream has come true!
I knew from a very early age that I wanted to be a hairdresser. My grandad was a hairdresser and so was his father and brother, who owned three barber shops in Liverpool many decades ago. My grandad was the in-house hairdresser at a hospital in Liverpool, making sure all the patients were tidy and clean shaven. He inspired me, and I also wanted to make people feel and look beautiful, it’s such a rewarding feeling.
Here’s a little on how I got into doing wedding hair: When being asked to do my regular clients’ wedding hair I found I really enjoyed it, it’s wonderful being involved in one of the happiest days of their lives. I then met other wedding suppliers and liaised with them on photoshoots and other events and discovered my creative talent in bridal hair. I started getting recommendations and so that is how I am now in the wedding industry and enjoying every moment of it.
As a passionate hairstylist, the service you will receive from me will be professional and bespoke to you. I am a hairdresser that listens your hair needs and wants.
I recommend you to get in touch for anymore information that I can help you with or to book an appointment.
